Plastics and petrochemicals
This page is still under construction. We plan to set out in the near future our thoughts on the use of petrochemical ingredients and plastics in the production and packaging of a huge range of consumer products.
Esme does sell a number of products which provide excellent alternatives to products made from plastic, or which — either by virtue of their design or through their use of recycled material — facilitate a reduction in use and subsequent disposal of plastics:

- Children's soft toys with organic cotton covering and recycled PET (plastic bottle) filling
- Wooden disposable cutlery
- Organic cotton buds with paper stalks
